This unique hat and bootie set is the icing on the cake for your little princess. The “frosting layers” are picot hems that are knitted right on to each other. Finishing is minimal for both the hat and the booties, which are both knitted entirely in the round. The booties are constructed like little socks, featuring a turned hem with a ribbed cuff and traditional heel flap and gusset so they fit snugly. Knit this in a soft fingering weight yarn with lovely drape for an heirloom that will be passed down from daughter to daughter.
