Butterflies and Lace Baby Dress and Matching Shoes: This design is a FULL skirted dress with puffy balloon sleeves. The skirt is edged with picot stitch and light and breezy in a lace design. The bodice is worked in Seersucker stitch and the sleeves are designed to match the lace skirt. The shoulders are closed with Butterfly Buttons to add ease of dressing. The shoe soles are worked in moss stitch - doubled with plastic canvas for stability between them. The toes are short rows and the heels and strap are moss st. They fit a 9-12 month old with 5.5" soles. This is an intermediate knit and takes about 2.5 50g balls of baby yarn for the main colour and 1/2 a 50g ball for the shoes and edging of the second colour.
