This pattern is more of an intermediate/advanced pattern. There are photos showing stitch placement and the pattern has been tested by many others. I do offer support on all of my patterns if needed.
The top is worked back and forth, but the skirt of the dress is worked in the round. I highly suggest using stitch markers where indicated. The first time you use this pattern, make sure you have time to focus without distraction - it is easy to get confused.
This dress calls for Bernat Softee Baby yarn but I have also used Caron Simply Soft. As long as you check your gauge with the yarn you would like to use, you should be ok.
You will need 2 buttons in order to close the back of the dress. I used 5/8" buttons.
