The 'Butterfly Parade' blanket pattern By Kerry Jayne Designs
This sweet baby blanket is a unique pattern designed by Me. It is made in a soft 100% cotton yarn which is particularly suitable for newborns and children which delicate skin.
Other yarns brands and types may be used such as acrylic DK/light worsted which will also be lovely and in different colors too, perhaps just in two colors.
The yarn and colours used to make this blanket for the pattern: King Cole DK/Light worsted - Cottonsoft in white, mint, lime, candy, Rose.
Other recommended cotton brands at varying prices: Drops Muskat DK, Cascade ultra pima DK, Patons 100% cotton, Stylecraft Classic cotton DK.
For acylic alternatives - Stylecraft special DK, James C. Brett soft and gentle baby DK, Lion Brand DK, Red heart baby DK, in fact most Dk yarns as long as they are of a similar thickness :-)
The blanket can be made to any size as the multiple is given to adjust the size.
