A highly textured lap blanket covered in woven cables and basketweave, knit in one piece with virtually no finishing. The complexity of the cables and texture will keep you interested while knitting, and will draw they eye when it’s draped over a chair when finished. The blanket is the perfect size to snuggle under while knitting away a cozy evening, or to use as a thick warm crib blanket.
The gauge and needle size given are for Thick and Quick. In Thick and Quick, the final blanket size is approx. 48" x 56".
If you use Knit Picks Swish Bulky, adjust your gauge to 11 stitches over 4 inches, which I got on a size 13 needle. The finished size will be approx. 37" x 48".
