With this pattern, you can make a realistic and even your own fluffy guinea pig.
Size: 5.5 inch / 14 cm long when made with Istex Lett Lopi and hook E / 3,5 mm.
The instructions are written in US crochet terms. The pattern contains a list of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.
Materials Worsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You'll need three colours of yarn: murky brown (1/3 of a 100 yard skein), white (1/4), and a small amount of brown. The quantities are estimates. For the eyes I've used 8 mm animal eyes and I sewed a nose with murky brown and some light pink embroidery yarn. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). Lopi colour numbers: 1420, 0051, 0053.
