This 3 D cushion cover is worked flat and has alternative instructions for beginners and those at an early intermediate level, making it achievable but offering simple techniques to allow beginners to challenge themselves and grow in confidence.

Techniques include:

Stocking stitch

Garter stitch

Ribbing

A simple pattern using knit and purl stitches

Adding beads while knitting

A gentle introduction to colourwork

Picking up stitches (optional instructions for those who prefer not to do this)

Adding markers

Increase and decrease stitches

Buttonholes

This was originally designed as a mystery knit for my knitting group of all ability levels so is tried and tested.
