Careen Scarf

I wanted a scarf that avoided endless miles of boringly repetitive knitting, looked great on, yet was still quick and easy to make. So I came up with an Art Deco motif that grows up from each end, while a larger patterned section creates interest in the centre - shown off to great effect when the scarf is wound round your neck or looped double, as pictured. This is an easy project, suitable for a novice, but the motifs will hold an intermediate knitter’s interest. The pattern includes charts AND written instructions - ideal if you want to learn how to follow charts since you can refer to both. Shown in Fyberspates Scrumptious Aran.
