Cat Ears Hat and Cowl Set

My cat ears hat and cowl set is the perfect combination for keeping warm and cozy, and to bring a smile to the face of any cat loving person. The cowl is long enough to pull up over the nose to give good protection from biting cold winds.

Both the hat and cowl are one size, with plenty of stretch, so will suit most people. However, I do indicate in the patterns where you can make adjustments if you want the pieces to be longer or shorter. You will only need three 4 oz skeins (100 g balls) of super bulky (super chunky) yarn in the main color to make the set, plus an oddment of yarn in a contrast color to embroider the nose and whiskers on to the cowl. The hat and cowl are knit on the round, and I provide a link in the instructions to explain this technique if you are unfamiliar with it. My patterns are written in plain English, which makes them easy to follow whether you are a newbie knitter or you have many years of experience.
