A generous scarf with a faux-woven effect, designed to bring colour and warmth to winter days.
Cauldhame uses luxurious, brushed alpaca silk yarn, knitted held double to create a lightweight and cosy fabric with beautifully blended tones. It features clever, a non-rolling selvedge edge.
Choose six shades of yarn. We've used jewel colours but pale tones and neutrals work equally well or go bold with primary colours for unexpected effects!
You will need six yarn bobbins for this pattern, which are available here. The pattern includes detailed instructions for intarsia and working with bobbins.
Cauldhame is inspired by the stunning and unexpected colours of the Scottish moorlands, where purple heather and golden grasses intermingle, and of course the rich traditions and tartan, weaving and woollen fabric in Scotland.
