Celebrate STEM

This project uses TITR (Tunisian in the Round) techniques and requires a basic knowledge of Tunisian crochet. Science is like magic, but real. Sometimes it IS rocket science and I've done the math so you don't have to. The blanket is constructed centre out, starting with a "star", circled with "planet Earth" graphics. Sections continue with a variety of iconic STEM graphics, simple and strategic colour changes and a border with DNA, science equipment and the elements of STEM. "S" is Sulphur, "TE" Tellurium and "M" is Mithril (for Lord of the Rings Fans"). You will learn how to start a TITR hexagon, read colour coded charts (trust me, easier that following rnd by rnd written instructions), and complete a piece of "heART". I've including hints on how to avoid yarn tangles and fix mistakes. I've been exploring TITR for 7 years, taught hundreds of students (with rave reviews) and literally wrote the 1st book on TITR "Learn Tunisian Crochet in the Round" published in 2021 by Annies.
