Construction: First, a modified center granny square is worked. Two wings, one on either side of the square, are worked out to create the wingspan. The shawl is finished off with a border along the bottom edges of the shawl.
The PDF includes a crochet chart, a schematic for measurements and a graphic for stitch counts in the border.
