There was a print of a cheerleader silhouette on the packaging. :)
And I couldn't get the idea out off my head until I had done it!
It is a two color beanie and can therefore be knitted any cheerleader team colors.
You might add or leave the pompon on top. Just do as you like!
The smaller version features the text "Cheer!", the bigger one "Cheerleader". Otherwise the charts are the same.

It can be knitted in any 4-ply yarn (Merino, Acrylic or sock yarn).
As it has at most two colors in one round and uses the two colors throughout the beanie, it is also suitable for stranded knitting beginners.
It has a pompon in the cheerleader's colors at the top :)
