Knit up a penguin! Chilly Charlie is the perfect little present for penguin fans. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the penguin is knitted on single pointed needles (not in the round). Charlie is worked in DK yarns (double knitting/light worsted). He’s chock-full of simple increases and decreases, in garter and stocking stitch. Use a mix of appliqué and intarsia to create his white tummy and inquisitive eyes, with sweet black buttons for the finishing touch. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
