A simple but stylish bobble hat and mitt set made using Rowan Big Wool. The pattern uses just two balls of this beautiful soft merino wool yarn. The hat and mitts are knitted flat, then sewn up, making it suitable for a beginner, who has learnt the basics; casting on and off, knit, purl, making a stitch.
The fingerless mitts have a useful thumb shaped adding extra warmth without compromising your ability to use your [hone while wearing them. I have devised a very simple technique to create the thumb, which is supported by photo illustrations within the instructions.
This is a concise pattern, the hat comes in two sizes and will fit between 54cm -58cm head.
