American crochet terms.
Two patterns - a crocheted cloche hat and a crocheted scarf. The pattern is appropriate for a beginner with a basic knowledge of crochet. Easy and the patterns work up quickly using chunky yarn. Both use a stitch that gives a knit look to the products. I've used Permier Yarn Anti Pilling Bamboo Chunky, a #5 yarn. It is very soft and lovely to the touch but another #5 yarn can be substituted. Instructions are included for the hat in small, medium and large...the scarf can be made any size.
