Give me some round, cushy merino and a few cables and I’m all set. This Equus yarn totally fits the bill - round and thick and gorgeous in a cable.
This motif features elegant curves and a mix of texture that’s really fun to work. And perhaps it is also a bit addictive, since I ended up with two versions of this design!
The brimmed version fits snug and cozy on your head and features an intricate, textured crown design.
The pom version goes directly into the cable detail, without a brim and is worn longer on the head for a just a little slouch. The crown on this one features only the cable ribs, swirling towards the center and ending under a pom.
Note: you will use up almost every inch of your 200 yard skeins with this one.
And PS: I’m absolutely in love with this cable motif, so don’t be surprised if you see it again on another design before long!
