ColorBand Cowl

DESCRIPTION: ColorBand Cowl is a loop in a loop. It's knitted in a round and then the ends are grafted with Kitchener's stitch (the grafting instructions are provided in the pattern). All of the color bands are made in slipstitch patterns - only one color is used on any given row, making it a perfect project for a colorwork beginner.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 14” tube (7" when worn) in a 55-60” long loop.

MATERIALS: • Yarn: Fingering weight (shown in Knitpicks Pallette 100% Peruvian Highland Wool 50g 231yds): 2 balls of black (A); 1 ball each of: cream (B); dark grey “Asphalt Heather” (C); medium blue “Pool” (D); dark purple “Eggplant” (E); medium purple “Huckleberry Heather” (F); light purple “Hyacinth” (G); teal “Calypso Heather” (H); light blue “Sky” (I); light green “Celadon Heather” (J); orange “Rose Hip”(K); red “Pimento” (L); Double-pointed needles or circular knitting needles (two sets) US 3/
