Each square in this patchwork blanket is knitted from the same simple textured pattern, when put together they make a striking blanket which looks just as good on the reverse as it does on the right side.
The size is easily adjustable by simply adding more squares.
An ideal take along project as each square is knitted separately, it is also a great project to use up left over yarn from other projects.
The stitch pattern is suitable for the beginner knitter and seaming the squares together is easy; full instructions with pictures are given in the pattern.
A good beginner project. Techniques used are, knit, purl, cast on and cast off.
