This is a crochet pattern for a beanie hat and buttoned cowl designed by me. They feature beautiful and unusual texture achieved by backpost / frontpost, and puff stitches. This pattern uses US crochet terms.
Sizes Included: Adult size, beanie fits 20 to 22 inch head. But you could make it larger or smaller by simply varying the size of the hook used! The cowl is 5.5 inches wide and about 29 inches long. You could also make the cowl into a full length scarf if you chose; you would need about twice the amount of yarn listed to do so.
Requires: 330 yards of DK or light worsted weight yarn and size H (5.00mm) crochet hook. You could use any DK weight yarn of your choice, either striping or solid.
