This pattern enables you to use any 2 identical skeins of yarn as you work to the halfway point using the first skein then work the 2nd half using the 2nd skein.
Sizing / gauge is therefore not critical - just be aware that large differences in yarn weight and gauge achieved will result in different sizes of your finished project.
For comparison only, size and gauge information for sample shown is:
23 sts and 37 rows to 10cm / 4” after blocking. Finished measurements - Wingspan =163cm / 64”, height = 86cm / 34” after blocking. This was worked in 2 x 100g skeins of Rosy Green Wool Cheeky Merino Joy using 3.5mm / US 4 needles.
