Yarn : 1 skein ‘Fleece’ Handspun by Annie Claire [100% Romney wool, 4oz, 200yds]. Needle : US 10.5 [6.5mm], or needle to obtain gauge. Gauge : 15 sts and 20 rows = 4 inches in st st. Notions : Tapestry needle, cable needle.
Pattern Notes : This hat is knitted flat, back and forth from the rim to the crown, then seamed and gathered to create a hat - undo the gathering at the crown and you have a tight fitting cowl.
