The idea for this cute and stylish pointy hat came to me when I was trying to come up with a hat pattern that would look good on me - hats that sit flat to the head don't really suit me, but thankfully, adding the dangling point and tassel did the trick. I hope you find it as fun to make as I did to design, and enjoy wearing it for many winters to come.
You'll need to be comfortable with doing cabling, as every right-side row is cabled. You'll also need 2 x 5.5mm straight needles, a set of 5mm double-pointed needles or a 5mm circular needle, and a large cable needle, as well as 100g of chunky yarn, such as James Brett Marble Chunky (used here).
