Turtlenecks are my all-time FAVORITE. I just love feeling cozy and this sweater is cozy to the max! (Can we still say to the max? LOL!)
It’s a super quick project, knit from the top down, with chunky ribbing and a relaxed style. Plus, you can try it on as you go for the perfect fit.
Your yarn choice matters; you want something soft for the full, folded turtleneck for optimal cozy vibes, and I’ve also included an option for a mock neck if that’s more your style. I chose a wool/alpaca blend that added the perfect combo of softness and structure.
The cable details on the oversized sleeves keep the project interesting while adding visual interest and sophistication. My hubby, who has been watching me knit almost daily for years actually said, “Hey, that looks like a REAL sweater.” Mkay, thanks.
