I adore knitting socks and my goal with anyt new design is to create a pattern that feels like it knits itself. This is what I have aspired to do with this design.
The fabric created when you knit these socks reminded me of the crunkled up paper that was lying on my desk at the time, and so they became my Crunkled Socks !
Included within the pattern is a video tutorial on my 2 stitch pick up method, that gives the perfect corners to your gussets - no holes ! This design also includes my much loved Umbrella Toe.
I knit the pattern sample using a skein of MCN yarn from Sherry Iris Designs which was named 'In Celebration of Lilacs'.
