Cube snail is lovely and squishy, but never slimy! This pattern is written in US crochet terms and includes instructions to make each of the components and assemble the finished snail.
This happy little critter is worked in the round and uses the following techniques:
- slip stitch
- single crochet (increasing and decreasing)
- back post single crochet (decreasing)
- double crochet (increasing)
- amigurumi/plushie construction
The pattern can be worked in any yarn (with the appropriate hook size). If working in the suggested yarns your snail will...
- ...be approximately 5"/13cm tall and 11.5"/29cm long
- ...need 110yds for the body, 90yds for the shell, 40yds for the foot and 12yds for the eyes (as well as a few scraps of black fabric and some embroidery thread).
