The Cyclist tea cosy is perfect for people who love cycling, it will remind them of their favourite hobby whist they are enjoying teatimes.
The main tea cosy I wanted to reflect the countryside and grass verges and above is blue sky. The figure biking is perched on the top of the cosy and is reaching forward for the handlebars.
The cyclist and the bike can be knitted in any colour combination, so it could be knitted to look like someone you know.
What I really love is the cycling helmet, I think it looks great. There is a help video on Youtube to show you how to knit the helmet. There is a link to the video in the knitting pattern or you could search Youtube for TeaCosyFolk help videos.
The knitting pattern uses Stylecraft Special DK. The tea cosy is knitted with double thickness yarn to keep the teapot and the tea really hot.
