Dancing Embers

About the design:

I created this blanket design with 4 possible repeat sections which can be combined and placed in any order that you like, you can skip any section that you don’t like. You decide what your blanket will look like and how big it will be.

I used, Elle Alula - 624 Parrot 200g/600m, 3 balls (B) and Elle pullskein DK - 001 white 100g/300m,9 balls (A) and a 4mm hook for the pictured blanket. I required approximately 4500 m/4922 yards of yarn. To achieve my blanket for a single bed I chained 200+1, and did the repeat sections as follow: part A, part B, part C, part D, Part A twice, part D, part C, part B, part A. Stitch abbreviations: Chain = ch Single crochet = sc Single crochet backloop only = scblo Back post half double crochet = bphdc Double crochet front loop only = dcfl Note: dcfl is always done in the stitches 2 rows prior to your current row.
