So while you look for your dream summer bag, why not crochet one yourself, with the help of a hook and an incredibly colourful cotton yarn. Being unable to make up my mind on the right colour, the right texture or the right stitch to use, I eventually decided to use them all in a reversible, amazingly versatile summer bag. A sandy, soft colour on one side, decorated with a vaguely lacy pattern, and big colourful stripes on the other, perfect for when you feel romantic or energetic.

- 3 mm crochet hook
