These fingerless gloves were designed for my Niece Faith. Faith tends to lean towards stitch patterns that they themselves “lean“. She likes to take a straight line and move it in a bit of a different direction. She is a gifted seamstress as well and has won contests on the national level. Faith has also been the photographer for the majority of my patterns.
The Diagonal Stitch Fingerless gloves were born from my desire to send her a bit of love to let her know how much I appreciate her work. While looking through one of my stitch dictionary books this stitch pattern quickly caught my eye. Was it possibly because the pattern displays her love of slanted stitches? Hmm, I wonder……
♥The pattern also includes instructions for working the thumb flat as well as in the round. A chart is provided along with written instructions.
