I created this pattern for my cousin's son. I wanted something that was light and airy enough for summer, but also sturdy enough for the colder months. I also love playing around with crochet stitches to make something different! For this one I created a diamond mesh pattern by combining the V st with the Dc2tog st. And because of the way it's made, it can be worked up in only a couple of weeks!

- I made this blanket by holding together 2 strands of light 3 weight yarn. Could easily be made lighter by using only 1 strand.
