**Coat and Hat knitted in Wendy Celeste sparkly double knitting wool with Sirdar Foxy faux fur trim, . **
18" will fit **** Our Generation, new Sindy,Gotz, Design-a-Friend, American Girl.
Knitted on size 3.5 mm and 5.0 mm needles. Easy to knit in simple stocking stitch and garter stitch.
Wool tension of the main coat = 22sts and 30 rows to 4"on 4.0mm needles. (just in case you want to substitute any D/K wool from your stash or use another brand.
Like most of my patterns this is a relatively easy knit, (I don't like to complicate patterns when little fingers are eager to get their new doll outfit!)
**The main body of the coat is knitted in one piece to the armholes then divided for the fronts and back. Sleeves are knitted separately then stitched on. The faux fur collar and sleeve cuffs are added by picking up stitches from the neckline/sleeves. **
