Knit this cute set ready for the holidays. Will fit 18-19 inch dolls.
The gilet is knitted in one piece from the bottom up in one complete piece, starting at the front hem and ending at the hood top. The only stitching is on the hood seams. The short dungarees are also easy to knit, I try to design my patterns to be quick and easy to knit so this is not a complicated process; little ones don't want to wait for their dolls new outfits!
Knitted in double knitting wool on 4.00 mm straight needles. Relatively easy pattern for a beginner or an experienced knitter. I've made the pattern as clear and easy as possible just in case any knitters feel unsure.
Uses approx 40 grams double knitting wool for the gilet, and approx 25 grams for the dungarees. An ideal project for using wool from your stash.
Tension 22 sts and 30 rows to 4" square. Uses number 4.00 mm needles, (6 USA).
