The swimsuit is knitted in one piece from the bottom up starting at the crotch with easy to do shaping and only stitching on the side and shoulder seams. The hat and bag are also easy to knit, I try to design my patterns to be quick and easy to knit so this is not a complicated process; little ones don't want to wait for their dolls new outfits!
Knitted in double knitting wool on 4.00 mm straight needles. Relatively easy pattern for a beginner or an experienced knitter. I've made the pattern as clear and easy as possible just in case any knitters feel unsure.
Uses approx 40 grams in the main colour of double knitting wool for the whole outfit , and approx 10 grams contrast colour. An ideal project for using wool from your stash.
Tension 22 sts and 30 rows to 4" square. Uses number 4.00 mm needles, (6 USA).
