This little grey donkey has two options for making the mane. The main picture shows the mane crocheted simply with a row of trebles. The other option is to use loop stitch which is actually not difficult and the pattern contains a suggestion for a tutorial. I have made the mane from a mottled black and grey yarn but plain black works well to save extra expense.
