Introducing the Drop in Dream Sweater. This classic drop-shoulder sweater features a unique shoulder seam that shifts slightly toward the back.
♥ SKILL LEVEL: Designed for knitters who know how to knit and purl. The pattern offers step-by-step instructions and a full video tutorial for creating this sweater with confidence.
♥ METHOD: The sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down, starting with back-and-forth rows and then moving to working in the round. It begins at the upper back, with shoulder shaping created using German short rows.
Stitches are then picked up from the shoulders to shape the neckline, and the front and back are joined to continue working in the round. The shoulder seam is slightly shifted toward the back. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up and knitted in the round, with decreases made along the way. Finally, stitches for the neckline are picked up and worked in 1x1 rib.
♥ YARN: Aran. I used Drops Nepal for blue and gray samples, Drops Air for pink.
