This 4ply hat is lovely and light to wear but still very warm. The colours reflect the vibrant earth hues of Australia and the zig zag bands represent our mountain peaks and ranges. Similar to my sock pattern in this series the thin bands with their three stitch repeat denote the multitude of Indigenous Nations which populate Australia, both now and in the past. Carry unused colours fairly loosely behind your work so you maintain good tension.

- You could easily change the colour scheme in this hat for a completely different look. Blues or Greens would look just as fantastic
