Easton Cardigan

Staggered lines of twisted ribbing add a bit of texture to this cardigan, one which will hopefully become an instant classic in your knitwear collection as it has in mine. Easton is worked from the bottom up in one piece to the armholes at which point the back and fronts are worked separately. Sleeves are worked back and forth from the bottom up and the sleeve cap is sewn into the armhole. The stitch pattern along the yoke consists of staggered lines of right twists. The layout for these lines is provided in chart format only. The buttonhole and button bands are worked as vertical applied edgings when finishing.
