For the shawlette as pictured, you'll need approximately 210 yards of a DK-weight merino wool yarn. (Featured is Knot Your Momma's Yarn 100% merino in colorway Grandma's Garden.) You'll also need a US-I 9.0/5.50mm hook, tapestry needle, and scissors. To use a different yarn size, the amount of yardage will differ to make this same size (12x40") and I would recommend using a hook that's at least 1 size up from what's recommended for your yarn of choice.
