Empire Style Sleeveless Sweater (Top) with Felt Flower

KNITTING PATTERN Empire Style Knit Top with a Felt Flower for Women

This pattern will permit you to knit this empire style sweater and to use the yarn leftovers to felt a flower (technique also explained in the pattern) for embellishment. It will allow you to learn 3 new stitches invented by me. I used 5 skeins of Rowan Kidslik Haze (4 skeins of color Majestic and 1 of color Drab) and knitted double stranded to create this top (sleeveless pullover) but you can also use other equivalents and even almost any other threads or yarns because it is very easy to change the size of this garment as there are no increases nor decreases. I called this sweater Empire because it is high-waisted but, as I’ve already told you, you can transform it into a normal pullover moving the waist. The central square (central part, tightened on waist, without counting shoulders) is of 45x45 cm. The waist’s length is of 35 cm (on each front and back pieces).
