These handwarmers are knit in English Rib, a simple pattern stitch that will make up the entire body of the handwarmer. You’ll create an attractive, stretchy fabric that hugs your hand! Includes a thumb gusset and instructions on finishing the thumb.
Sizes include Child Age 3-6, Child Age 7-10, Age 11 to Adult Female, and Adult Male. For a custom fit, it is very easy to adjust the length of the piece by adding or subtracting the number of rounds given in the pattern sizes. Adjust circumference by adding or subtracting a multiple of 4 to each round.
Gauge in Child Sizes =2” (5 cm) = 12 sts, 14 rounds in English Rib pattern stitch, after blocking, using Size 6 (4mm) needles.
Gauge in Adult Sizes = 2” (5 cm) = 10 sts, 15 rounds in English Rib pattern stitch, after blocking, using Size 7 (4.5 mm) needles.
Supplies needed include stitch markers, a stitch holder, and yarn needle.
