These mitts are loosely inspired by Tolkien. In "The Lord of the Rings", the Entwives have gone, likely never to return. Tree and leaf related patterns always make me think of the sad disappearance of the Entwives. So, this is my way of reviving one, or two.
Pattern is written for two different yarn weights in order to accomodate a need for a larger size.
The pattern includes written instructions for the main stitch pattern as well as a chart. A very straight-forward knit with stunning results.
