Eulalia

Eulalia is delicate, subtle and graceful. It is a shawl for lace lovers who are looking for a challenge rather than for simple autopilot knitting.

Even though the lace section may look sophisticated, the knitting has its rhythm and after a while you start to see the pattern and can follow it intuitively. Nevertheless, it is very helpful to have your pattern handy!

One of the components that make the pattern so light and airy is lightweight yarn, then there is lacy knitting and aggressive blocking. Solid colour is another factor that brings the pattern to its full advantage.

Level - the shawl uses basic lace stitches – increasing, decreasing and yarnovers but it is done on both sides and requires some attention while knitting. Knit and purl stitches on both RS and WS give it additional texture. Instructions are both written and charted, WS included.
