Based on a traditional granny square pattern, our blanket is made in bright shades reminiscent of colours of the fairgrounds I visited as a child. We used 50gram balls of Scheepjes stonewashed the mini ones are just used in our photos. There will be some yarn over from the colours we used. Everybody loves a granny square and there are many different variations and methods of making them. We have included how we make ours in this pattern.
