Fairy Jasmin Baby Blanket

When my children were little I used to write short poems about a made up Fairy called Jasmin. My children have since grown up but I didnt want to totally forget about Jasmin and so I've immortalised her by knitting this beautiful tactile blanket in her name.

My Fairy Jasmin baby blanket is wonderfully versatile and can be easily resized for whatever project you want just by adding more squares. It would look lovely on an adults bed or a little girls bed as well as in a cot or a buggy. Also as my mother has alzhimers i think it would make a lovely lap blanket and the 3D flowers would give her restless fingers something to touch, feel and twiggle with.

I like to design blankets that can be utilised in many ways.

My pattern is easy to read and has coloured photos and diagrams.

I've used crochet to join my squares together but it would look just as beautifull if you used a blanket stitch in contrasting yarn.
