This felted fair-isle basket will brighten your home while also being a very useful basket to keep your project, yarn or needles in. Sized to fit a standard round powder-room wastebasket (approx. 25" diameter and 9" height), this fun project is a wonderful project for newbie color-work knitters. You need 200 yards of two colors. Note: you must be able to: * follow a color-work chart * knit with two colors of yarn in each row * knit in the round All of these skills are necessary for learning to knit fair-isle.
