Fields of Lavender is a three-color boomerang shaped shawl created for fingering/sport weight yarns in solid colors (you will find suggestions for color choices in a dedicated note on page 4). Easy garter stitch alternates with mosaic sections in a garter background, making this shawl an engaging, but also relaxing knit.
The shawl is adjustable (resizing instructions are provided).
YARN Rosy Green Wool Cheeky Merino Joy (100% Merino Superwash, 320 m / 350 yds per skein – 1 skein = 100g / 3.53 ounces), sport weight:
1 skein in color A, shown in Blackberry Sorbet 2 skeins in color B, shown in Peony 2 skeins in color C, shown in Blackberry
For my sample I used 0.55 skeins of color A (176 m / 189 yds), 1.9 skeins of color B (608 m / 665 yds) and 1.2 skeins of color C (378 m / 413 yds).
Please note that yardage is an estimate and depends on knitting style, tension, yarn and needles used.
