Use any DK (US light worsted) yarn to knit this hatThe hats samples shown here have been knitted with 3 different DK yarns
Debbie Bliss Rialto DK, Sirdar Cashmere Merino Silk and Sirdar Snuggly DK 100% acrylic.
As this hat is knitted in rib it requires a smaller needle than the standard size that recommended for your DK (US Light worsted) yarns. This smaller needle size will give you a neat rib with elasticity and memory (it will bounce back). The hats sizes are calculated using this smaller needle.
