Flower Blanket

Flower Blanket is made of hexagon-shaped modules with a flower motif combining lace, stockinette and garter stitch. Each hexagon is worked from the centre of the flower outwards and the modules are knitted together−detailed photo tutorials showing how to cast on and how to join the modules are included in the pattern. You can arrange your hexagons in stripes of the same colour or randomly. The latter method will allow you to use up small amounts of yarn left over from other projects, as each hexagon only uses approximately 48 metres/53 yards of DK yarn. The pattern is written for one size in DK weight yarn, but you can make your blanket any size you want, with any yarn weight−just change the number of hexagons and adjust needle size to suit your yarn.
