Flower Power series - Pretty Pansies

Part of my Flower Power series, this Pretty Pansies features 3 cute pansies in a terracotta pot. You can do solid color flowers or multi-color, and for extra detail, we add little yellow French knots to the final square with a yarn needle.

This pattern is for an overlay mosaic crochet square that can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, satchel bags, table mats, etc.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.

You can use any color combo you like - the sample image uses approx 4 oz of yarn total, of medium weight 4 yarn. Great way to use up your scraps!
